Meet Marketa Jefferson, proud owner of Grizzly and Bear Spa. Ever wonder about her accent? Marketa comes from Czech Republic. Even as a child, her love for animals was evident as she would sneak them into her home from wherever she could find them outside. As you can imagine, her daring antics sometimes made her parents downright furious.

At the age of 18, Marketa embarked on a life-changing journey to America. With not a word of English under her belt, she was determined to create a brand new life for herself. Always up for a challenge, she explored various job options to make ends meet, but it seemed like an impossible feat. However, an idea struck her one fateful day after a dog rescue: Transforming her passion for animals into a thriving business.

Setting up her own venture wouldn't be a walk in the park, but Marketa knew it would be worth every ounce of sweat and tears. With relentless dedication and sheer determination, she turned her dream into a reality. The fulfillment she now finds in caring for your beloved pets brought her joy and freedom from employment.
